Gostaríamos de informar que, a partir de 1 de janeiro de 2025, entrou em vigor uma nova lei nos Açores que obriga a cobrança de uma taxa turística de 2€ por noite e por hóspede, durante as primeiras 3 noites de estadia. Esta cobrança será aplicada a todos os hóspedes, salvo nas situações de isenção previstas na legislação.
Isenções:
Ficam isentos do pagamento da Taxa Turística Municipal:
a) Hóspedes de idade inferior a 13 anos;
b) Hóspedes cuja estada seja motivada pela obtenção de serviços médicos, pelos dias necessários ao tratamento, acrescidos de uma dormida, estendendo-se esta isenção até a uma pessoa para efeitos de acompanhamento do hóspede doente, e ainda que este último não venha a pernoitar no estabelecimento por motivos de saúde;
c) Hóspedes com residência fiscal em qualquer Município da Região Autónoma dos Açores.
Para efeitos do disposto pelo número anterior, no momento de pagamento da taxa, o hóspede deverá fazer-se acompanhar da seguinte documentação:
a) Para comprovar as situações previstas na alínea a) do número anterior, o respetivo cartão de cidadão ou passaporte;
b) Para comprovar a situação prevista na alínea b) do número anterior, documento comprovativo da marcação/prestação de serviços médicos, ou documento equivalente, emitido por entidade competente, com indicação expressa da respetiva data.
c) Para comprovar a situação prevista pela alínea c) do número anterior, documento de identificação com morada/fotografia, atestado de residência ou comprovativo de morada.
